As our journey came to an end, the moment we have to say goodbye to our trustworthy travel companion Hank The Tank is coming closer too. If somebody would have told us beforehand how well this car would treat us, we probably wouldn’t have believed. I’ll give a complete list of repairs we had to … More Salute to Hank
We conquered the van Zyls pass, drove along the Skeleton Coast and passed the mountains and dunes of the desert. Namibia brought us some epic drives!
To spice up the boring, flat tar road we took on some sand, salt and grass. Botswana threw some animals encounters in the mix too!
We have fun with a leopard, start an argument with an elephant and get soaking wet at the sprays of Victoria Falls. Here is 1200 km and 8 days of Zambia.
In Malawi Charlotte finally took responsibility in driving her share of the wheels necessary to propel us along. Sadly enough, only in Nyika National Park. The rest is as usual: Guus steering Hank clear of all road hazards like potholes and monkeys, but not bolts (hence our first puncture).
Rwanda is small, crowded, hilly and friendly (well… Kigali is). Watch as we zoom through this little gem!
Watch us ride through Kidepo Valley NP and Murchinson Falls NP up to the Rwandan border.
